Why the 23-year-old Austrian changed her role from student to teacher and what Michelle particularly appreciates in yoga after 12 years of competitive sports, we were able to learn from the active influencer (@michellestaudenherz).
At the beginning I completed the Matura in the competitive sports branch. Afterwards I practiced Basic Pilates and the Mobility Course. At the moment I am a fitness instructor and water jumping instructor.
After 12 years of competitive sports, my shoulder was unfortunately very overstrained and had to be operated three times. Unfortunately, this was then also the end of my career. Two years ago, however, I discovered yoga as rehabilitation after the operations.
I have now also changed the role from student to coach and I now train the Viennese junior team. Since I have learned a lot from my training and rehab, I try to pass this on to the children in the best possible way.
Yoga has helped me to listen to my body better. Now I try to spend a little time on my yoga mat every day. Since then I feel much better, because I pay attention to my body and listen to what it needs. Especially during training, because in yoga you don't push yourself too far, as it is practiced in professional sports.
No, unfortunately I don't have any yoga training yet. Anyway, I definitely plan to do this and would then incorporate it into my personal training.

Yoga is great to get to know your body better and to get a real awareness, but take it easy and slowly!
