My perfect day would start in the warm, preferably by the sea with my fiancé and a fruity breakfast. During the day there should be space to teach a yoga class with loved ones, lunch with my family, a bit of adventure or discovering new things in the area, sunbathing, time to relax (me time) and preferably dancing or going out for dinner with friends in the evening.
With my happy disposition and openness, I think I would love to go for a good coffee with this person I am about to meet, because I love to network and have good, deep conversations. This is why I love yoga & travelling, in both we experience so much magic & transformation when we face new situations with curiosity & adventure. Friends say about me that I'm fun to be around & funny. Since I love to laugh, I can hardly deny this. With a twinkle in my eye, I also prefer to face serious or challenging situations - on & off the mat. Lightness, freedom and harmony are very important to me personally in life. I would also describe myself as very determined when it comes to putting ideas and visions into practice. What I find difficult, by the way, is to answer in short sentences, as you have just noticed. By the way, I would mention my creative chaos as a small weakness and that I am often 5 minutes late for appointments.
I teach 1 - 3 yoga classes daily & love to pass on my knowledge & my own experiences in this way. Among other things, you can also find me on my Youtube channel online under my name "Estefania Olavide Yoga" if we can't meet live, it's a great way to still roll out the mat with me.

In a world that is so fast and noisy, it is good to consciously go into silence from time to time to find back to the true core of one's being, Atman. It is good to listen to the soul, to perceive the answers we carry within us and to ground ourselves. Meditating can be for many reasons, spiritual, energetic, psychological or physical - it has a positive effect on so many levels. For young & old.
The beauty is that anyone can meditate!
To begin with, I recommend setting up a quiet place at home or finding a place of power in nature.
Set yourself up comfortably there, with a blanket, cushions, candles, your favourite scent...
Find a comfortable seat with a straight spine, even on a chair at the beginning or lying down. Everything is allowed.
Set your smartphone to airplane mode so that no one disturbs you and you are not distracted.
Don't force yourself to do 30 minutes at the beginning, but start small. 5-10 minutes in silence is enough to calm your monkey mind.
Use and try out different tools to find the variation that is easiest for you at the beginning.
You can concentrate on your in & out breath. Repeat a short mantra or affirmation. Notice the environment around you - sounds, smells, sensations. Or go inside yourself and list all the beautiful things you are grateful for. It's not about not thinking anymore but calming your thoughts, maybe just grabbing one thought....
Routine is the key to success here. Gently increase the number of minutes. No matter how long you meditate, the action and your will alone will give you new insights into yourself and your mind. Namastè
